One-day workshop “Recipe for Successful Publication in Social Sciences” – Bharathidasan University – 22 August 2023.

Three departments of Bharathidasan University – Department of History, Department of Educational Technology, and Centre for Youth Development & Studies – came together to organize the workshop and hosted me as the resource person. Both organizers and I were excited as the participation was overwhelming and included not only young PhD students but also experienced faculty members.

The participants learned about the three steps for a successful submission: gathering information and preparing for writing, the writing process and choosing the right journal for publication. We delve more deeply into the writing process, discussing how to develop the writing habit, writing the different components of an academic paper and preparing a manuscript based on journal requirements.

The workshop was indeed a success: the participants gave an overall rating of 4.51 out of 5.0 (39 respondents).
