In a sentence , “Police today offered ——— advice on how can owners can make themselves less vulnerable to the gang.
I thought the answer was “an”
but the correct answer is “no article “
I need a clarification in this pls.

Hi, Gayathri. "Advice" is used as an uncountable noun in this sentence. We do not use indefinite articles with uncountable nouns; e.g., water, sky are uncountable nouns. To know whether a noun is countable or uncountable, please look up for that particular term in the Lexico dictionary.
